Times change and so do car shows. John Parker is now working with his kids under the name “Juan & Sons Productions”. Our determination and resolve is to continue to put on great car and motorcycle shows at the Ventura Fairgrounds. We continue to strive and bring you the best cars, the best live music and the best kustom kulture artists from all around the world! John Parker has decided to continue under new names. Although “Back to the Beach” and “Primer Nationals” are no longer, will we continue the good times with the 1st Annual “Beatnik Blowout” and the 1st Annual “Ventura Nationals”! We proudly continue to employ and support our active and reserve soldiers locally and afar, hiring military members from our local navy base that provide security and great parking at each of our events, just as we have done in the past.
Please come join us on the grass, under the palm trees, down by the ocean, as we carry on with great times and the very best Hot Rods, motorycycles, kustom kulture artists and live music. We look forward to seeing you there!

CAR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Pre-1965 American cars & trucks ONLY
- Promoters option for later lowriders 1965-1973
- All cars, trucks and motorcycles that pre register must send a side shot photo that shows the wheels with each entry regardless of past entry. (Sorry we do not keep past years photos)
- All cars must be driven into the fairgrounds. (No RV or trailer parking inside of the fairgrounds, please make other arrangements)
- No Billet Wheels or digital dashes
- No Alcohol or glass containers in vehicles (Fairgrounds security does check all coolers and vehicles) Alcohol is available for sale inside Fairgrounds.
MOTORCYCLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1969 and earlier American and Foreign motorcycles
- New Street Chopper Magazine Class: We will allow traditional old school choppers and bobbers with new powerplants. Still, no billet wheels, no rear tires larger than a 160.
- For those bikes that do not qualify for the show inside the Fairgrounds there will also be an award for the koolest bike in the parking lot sponsored by Big Bike Magazine.
*Your registration provides you and a guest along with your car, admission inside the gates both days. (your guest MUST be present at time of entry to enter with car)
